Vineyard/Orchard at Glacial Ridge Winery
In
the vineyard there are currently about 500 grape vines: LaCrescent, Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, St Pepin, St Croix, and
Marquette. We planted most of these in the Spring of 2008, and our grapes will be ready for wine harvesting in
about 3 to 4 years. The grape vines outline our orchard on three sides. You are invited to walk around the vineyard/orchard
and enjoy the site, feel and smells of the grapes and apples.
Developing new wines is always an exciting venture.
Using our apples and rhubarb in our wines with the 2007 harvest, we have an abundance of apple wines and apple blend wines
for you to taste.
