It's a fun experience by yourself or with friends.
There's a satisfaction and joy to making "your own
wine".
You don't need to make a large investment until you're ready.
You don't have to clean up!
How much will it cost?
At Glacial Ridge Winemaking Connection
$55.00 includes:
rental of site, equipment and corks (rental for beer is $30.00)
$30.00 includes: bottles - 6 gallons of wine makes
about 30 bottles
$75.00 = average cost of wine concentrate kit (beer averages $36.50)
$5.00 = approximate
cost of labels
$165.00 = total approximate cost
(will vary depending on wine kit, labels, and if you
have your own bottles)

How much time will it take? - About 2 months
Step 1 - mix up the juice in the Fermenting
Bucket and add yeast = 15 minutes
Step 2 - about a week later - rack
(transfer) from Fermenting Bucket to Carboy = 10 minutes
Step 3 - 2
weeks later - clarify wine with mixing paddle and add any flavor packets = 10 minutes
Step 4 - 2 weeks later - rack wine from Carboy to clean Carboy for last time = 10 minutes
Step 5 - about 2 weeks - Bottle and cork wine = 30 minutes (or more if you make it an
event with friends)
